Stick him up the middle in the "Anelka" role and see what he can do.

The only couple of times he has been played up the middle he has looked much better.

Leicester, League cup, played him up the middle, looked like a footballer.

We dont see him every day like the manager/s, but why not?

Has pace which we lack.

At the back end of the 2005-6 season when we played him up front he did well and scored goals against blackburn, leicester, charlton and middlesbrough.

 

then we got anelka and he never played apart from a few minutes each game from the bench

 

last summer he did well in the Euro Under-21 championships + then when LSL started playing him he did well in the peace cup and scored quite a few goals against the likes of espanyol. I think if we did give hima chance and play him in a strikers role he will do well. lets give him and rasiak a fair chance. Both could do very well for us in the second half of the season - and not forgetting Helguson

 

With Davies, Diouf, Vaz Te, Rasiak, Helgusson and Braaten we have a good range of striker (not amazing or world-class) but one's who each have different qualities i.e. pace, skill, good in the air, hard-workers, hold-up players and the odd finisher

I think it's fair to say that Braaten has none of these skills.

 

Vaz Te is more than capable of making an impact. But there are too many pricks at the Reebok on his back for him to play with any confidence.
