Hangover At Work

Featured Replies

You'd think I'd be old enough and wise enough to know that midweek drinking is not big and not clever. However, I might have had a few too many last night and not enough sleep.

Any tips to help me get through the day? B)

go to sleep under your desk

Back in my yoof, Thursday night round Bowton & then onto Ritzy was the only thing to do.

I used to get in work on Friday morning, still pissed. I had my own office at the end of a corridor & used to set up an elaborate system with a metal wastebin filled with lots of metal items behind the end door to the corridor, so I could sleep soundly and only be woken if somebody came down to my office. Genius, I thought at the time.

Though, I suppose you're in a communal office it's a shit idea, so happen plan 1 suggested by CWP is better.

Just a thought though like.

Big cup of tea & a full English breakfast, does the trick for me. If you can't get the full english

sausage & egg etc on toast/bread/barm, go for the lard.

& a pint at lunch hair of the dog works for some people

1. Strawberry milkshake to settle the stomach

2. Painkillers.

Thanks for advice, giving the painkillers a go. This is a 5.1 on the richter scale of hangovers!
