March 28, 200818 yr http://www.newcastleunited-mad.co.uk/news/...W&id=384953 wonder if there is any tuth in this report?
March 28, 200818 yr Load of bulls bags. Newcastle think because they got Keegan back as the 'dream ticket', Allardyce could make a wonderful return with us aswell. Nah
March 28, 200818 yr No, no, no, no, no. He has contributed as much as anyone else to our current plight.
March 28, 200818 yr No, no, no, no, no. He has contributed as much as anyone else to our current plight. absolutely
March 28, 200818 yr Wouldn't be the end of the world. Anyhow I doubt very much that he would want to come back.
March 28, 200818 yr Would be delighted if Allardyce came back. Left us in a right mess.....5th in the table after a 2-2 draw at Chelsea with a world class striker
March 28, 200818 yr No, no, no, no, no. He has contributed as much as anyone else to our current plight. I thinks Messrs Gartside , Lee and more latterly Megson might be more culpable. Nothing wrong with Sam wanting to better himself even if it went tits up.
March 28, 200818 yr I thinks Messrs Gartside , Lee and more latterly Megson might be more culpable. Nothing wrong with Sam wanting to better himself even if it went tits up. at our expense?
March 28, 200818 yr i'm just asking the question to be honest i would say though that sam did stuff that he knew would harm us megson and gartside and lee have all done their best for bolton wanderers may not have been good enough, but even so
March 28, 200818 yr Allardyce's timing was poor: leaving before the season ended. He turned Faye's and Ben Haim's attentions away from Bolton. He destroyed the backroom set-up that had been carefully put together over a 6 yr period. He dragged the name of our club through the mire with the dodgy deals made by himself and his son. I could go on, but i really haven't got the will.
March 28, 200818 yr I could go on, but i really haven't got the will. & possibly pissing in the wind too? I'm think I might well be in the category of being one of them there Bolton fans he once described.
March 28, 200818 yr at our expense? Live and die by the sword. Allardyce was fantastic for us and he had the right to do what he perceived as a better move. He didn't owe Bolton anything. Who knows what went on behind the scenes with Gartside (who's mouthing off pre season was a disgrace). The only player he took was Faye. I think we have to accept we're never going to achieve the miracles worked by the big man.

I am sorry but a lot of what went on was not behind the scenes, it was dirty linen out in public because of his dealings. I do hope I never have to employ someone with your attitude towards bettering oneself. Be careful who you shit on on your way up the ladder, son. NB - Naive (alledgedly)!
March 28, 200818 yr Allardyce's timing was poor: leaving before the season ended. Gartside was the one who wanted him out before the season ended, due to giving Sammy Lee a little experience, Big Sam wanted to leave at the end of the season, as for Ben Haim, he rejected various amounts of contracts offered to him by Big Sam, Ben Haim thought he was bigger and better.

I could go on, but i really haven't got the will. Tut tut For someone so on the ball as you Traf...I'm surprised by that. Allardyce was made to leave at that time. Ben Haim was gone anyway. And Lee destroyed the backroom, and the first team, at a fell stroke. Our problems stem from the post-Allardyce era, we can't blame him.

You're wrong, and that's the last I'm going to say on the subject.
March 29, 200818 yr Our problems stem from the post-Allardyce era, we can't blame him. Jeysus some people have short memories Our problems started DURING the Allardyce era.
March 29, 200818 yr Jeysus some people have short memories Our problems started DURING the Allardyce era. I disagree. If Big Sam were still here we'd be alright. Like Traf, I'm making a dignified exit now. But that's my take on it.
March 29, 200818 yr I disagree. If Big Sam were still here we'd be alright. Like Traf, I'm making a dignified exit now. But that's my take on it. As Craig admitted; "It's all my fault"
