April 4, 200818 yr Certainly my dream of continuing in Europe is shattered. If you get relegated at least you are fighting to come back up. If we stay in the premiership, I can only see years of battling to survive, along with most of the teams in the bottom half. Lets be real - we are not a top 5 team - so europe would be an extreme rarity and we would rest people in the cups to ensure premiership survival, so wheres the dream in that ?? The supporters have been shafted big time and I for one will never forgive em !!

April 4, 200818 yr Only in terms of pounds, shillings and pence for the club I was more gutted in 1983 when we lost at Charlton than i was when we went down in 95/96. Dropping into the Championship isn't great but it's nothing compared to dropping into the old Third Division. Wouldn't want to be in Southampton's position right now.

They couldn't even beat 10 men wigan. What if the 1st team had gotten us through, we then lost to wigan then get relegated by 2 points?
