I thought that before the deal happened. He was never going to go there in January and be prolific because Chelsea were always going to rotate him

I'm sure Nic will be gutted he left "Little old Bolton" - as he picks up his 120k a week, whilst thinking about the forthcoming Champions league semi final.

Chelsea are basically a 4-5-1 team and play a lot of route one balls up to Drogba. Anelka's real skill is running the channels with pace and he gets even fewer opportunities at Chelsea than at Bolton to use this. Isn't ?4m of the fee performance related? It's bad news for us.
