Manage your ignored users This section allows you to set up your ignored users list.

When you add a user to your ignore list, any posts they make will be masked until you specify that you wish to read them. You may not be able to ignore users if they are in a member group which doesn't allow them to be added.

I asked for this a while ago so thought I would remind you

 

"Is it possible to put the "next newest" button at the top of the page as well as at the bottom? It helps if you are like me and like to flick through the pages."

 

When we get some of the larger pages with lots of pictures (especially ones not suitable for an office environment) it can be a pain scrolling down to the bottom especially with a laptop touch pad.

How about a tick-box to omit any pictures posted in a forum? This may make the site work-friendly for some.

 

While we're about it how about having other domain names linking straight to here so that someone in accountancy could enter "www.acountantweekly.com" and it really be a link to here. Works with any domain name but I guess you'd need to buy it first.

Hit the 'spacebar' and it will take you to the bottom.

The 'search' option searches every forum for a particular word. Could we add some search parameters to narrow the results down?

i.e. when using the search option a drop down bar which gives options such as:

 

Author

Forum (Geeks, Banter, etc.)

More control in the polls,

ie rather than being able to select a single response, select multiple responses

eg.

Which 3 teams do you think will go down next year.

 

Or being able to order responses.

 

eg.

In order, what are the best 3 excuses to give the missus after she finds out you have been getting over friendly with your secretary.

 

Or even voters being able to add their own option that other people can vote rather, rather than those set by the initial pollster.

I have now been back on the search facility to prove to me and you that I know what I'm talking about and have found what I wanted so, hey, cheers Traf.

 

I use the 'Lo-Fi Version' at the bottom. I find it really useful. You miss out on polls/votes and some photo's though. It is also great for keeping you download to a bear minimum if your on dial up or on a download charge (ie mobile internet).

Actually its good on small screens like mobiles too.

I have just changed my settings to hide photo's and emoticons, cheers for that.
