Napoli Ultras

Featured Replies

Trouble is they usually do have an overwhelming majority, I went watching them in a midweek league cup fixture against some non entity of a team when they were in Serie B and there was 60k on!!!

Oh aye - they're fanatical alreet. First time I saw em play (1977) they had a top striker called Beppe Savoldi. Some toff looking bloke called him summat unmentionable when he missed a fairly easy chance and they threw him over the balcony! Reminded me of a good night out at Bowton Palais!

Was it Shrewsbury when all the Bolton decided to walk through town about 10 mins before kick off

I seem to recall walking through a shopping centre

was the shopping centre not swansea?

Was it raining? It always pissed down when I've been to Swansea.

Remember late 80's/early 90's at Swansea.

Think we took 2/3000 needing to win to go up and someone else to lose.

Boiling hot day, battling along seafront and outside the prison before game.

We won and some red ginger spread a rumour that the team we needed to lose had lost.

Away end was bouncing thinking we'd clinched promotion.

I think Stoke were in that equation.

I was there to that day, we needed Stoke to beat Grimsby and the rumour spread round the ground at full-time that they had. I'd driven half way home before hearing on the radio that it was bo11ock5.

Belter of a day out that was, the roar from the inmates at the prison when it went off on that street was like a goal going in.

Pub on the main road away from the Vetch, on the roundabout, The Quadrant or sommat (apt), loads of taffs clodding anything and everything at the away fans leavin whilst plod sat in the vans and watched.

And didnt Bury dick us in the playoff semis as a result of Grimsby getting sommat at Stoke?

Some Scottish c?nt called Mcginty or sommat bagged a hat trick against us. Shithouse.

nar. we beat the beggars over two legs then got turned over by Tranmere at Wembley. Not sure if Supa was playing for them at that time

How big was their footy special?

Heard they've been banned from every ground for the rest of the season already.

And they've had parts of their own ground shut down: the sections housing the Ultras.

Think we played em last game 2 seasons running.

I went to the first one and it went wild on the beach road afterwards. It was the same day Leeds wrecked Bournemouth.

Quite a few of our lads ended up in the Shopping Centre (St Davids I think it's called) hiding in racks of clothes, and standing in shop windows pretending to be mannequins.

I wasn't quick enough, lost a couple of teeth that day.

The season after I was at Motherwell watching Rangers. Heard about the celebrations down to the Chinese Whispers though.

swansea was the time the lad got threw off the bridge :yahoo:
