Blue Peter was for the stiffy kids, and Magpie for the proper kids. In the same vein, Swap Shop = Geeks. Tiswas = the sort of kids who grew up to frequent a site like this.

Blue Peter 50 years+ Magpie 12 years, no contest! Both me and my sister made some of those pom pom balls as kids and sent them in to Biddy Baxter (theproducer) Only my sister got a badge! I've had a chip on my shoulder ever since!

We were big rivals in the UK Championships!!! and I think Smithills were in the Euros when we played there!! Seriously, just say the name and see what she says.......

I will indeed, always funny went I went watching her as in a massive brass band you can't really hear a flute!
