Apologies for breaking the punfest but it interested me did this. This fellow Wanderer (filthy smoker though he is) must have started at Robert Fletchers down Stoneclough? Odds must be short with him being BWFC.

A previous CEO of Imperial Tobacco called John Langley was a personal friend of mine (by virtue of the fact that my aunt was his PA) and they too started at Robert Fletchers and rose to the top. Obviously, they were keen BWFC fans too so it is good to see the tradition continuing. Might be a prerequisite of getting the job?

As opposed to this feller, John Langley did not smoke and lived to a ripe old age driving his beloved convertible V12 E Type around Amersham right to the end. The same can not be said of my aunt who was another 'committed smoker' who died a horrible cancerous death at 52 (mainly lung but had spread around). The sight of her with grapefruit size growths on her throat and thorax will live with me forever and is one of the reasons I am a committed anti smoker. I wouldn't wish what I saw there on anybody - not even my worst enemy.
