Last week we dicked Boro 3-1 and today we've just thumped Sunderland 4-1. We've won 4 out of our last 5 (3 of them away) and all this prick can say is that Megson deserves a slap, his actual words, and that he should get the sack because Nolan is captain and not Cahill. FFS moaning about who should be captain... some folk will never be happy.

 

Even if you're not Megsons biggest fan you've got to take your hat off to him and the team with them results.

I dont see how anyone can complain even the most hardent Megson hater!! We have gone away and stopped another team playing before picking them off with some good goals yet again. The Liverpool game could have been different. Maybe Megson does know what hes doing. We just need to buy right in Jan as we dont have much past the 1st 14 or so.

Blah, blah, blah. Opposition played badly (why do they always play their worst game of the season against us?), should have played Gardner from the start, only 5 points above the relegation zone. Commentators say 4 good results you are up to 7th.

 

Let's face it we are 15 games into the season. If we repeated this in the second half having been slow to start, we would be on the magic 40 points after 30 games.

 

I felt cheated after Lisbon, having played so well at Bayern and Madrid because the fans and the club were let down.

 

But I have to say, Megson has bought some good players in a difficult transfer market and they are now well set out. We won't go down because we have good experienced players down the spine of the team and we may well do a bit better.

Spot on that L. I have not been his biggest fan but, fair dos, I have always said that no one will be happier than me if he proves me completely wrong and it's starting to look like he might. I have always liked the man and the way he conducts himself - especially some of the shiyte he had to endure when he was appointed. I just wasn't enamoured by his CV

 

Big tests coming up but, if BWFC exceed expectations in these games, I think we can say that our smart chairman was right all along.
