Neither are good enough for the premier league.

Why do away goals not count after 90 mins like in europe??? Surely having extra time gives the away team an extra 1/3 of a match to get an away goal?? Just like we would have beaten Ipswich in the play offs had equitable rules been implemented, Burnley would have beaten Spurs, seems a very strange interpretation of the rules????

 

 

It is a good point that maybe Burnley can use under the Discrimination Act to get the result over turned.

Dont mind Burnley one bit. Lived up amongst em for a while. Got some good kickings there in the 70's and 80's as they did at Bolton. We have a good reminisce about it now over a few jars. All the guys I know have a healthy respect for bolton.

I work with both Burnley and Jackburn fans and to be honest I get on better with the clarets lads. My village is just claret and blue with the obvious plastic manc or two thrown in. My mates daughter is going out with chris Mcann who is a really nice lad. Another former claret John Conelly is a regular in my village pub who i enjoy listening to his stories about his part in the 1966 world cup squad and his dislike of sir matt busby when he played for man u. Former burnley manager Frank casper gave me two free tickets for the League cup final against Liverpool, so no i don't dislike Burnley one bit and i hope owen can get then at least in a play off position this season.

I like Burnley because they remind me of us when I liked football.
