What Is It With...

Megson and his blue eyed boy Matty Taylor?

I do like Taylor, but he was dead on his feet last night in the second half and should have been subbed for Ricardo who would have been an out let ball for us to play.

I'm not Megson BASHING but surely he could see that Blackburn had the momentum and were pushing us back, therefore sticking some fresh, pacy legs on the left would have kept their defenders on their toes when we had possession?

Megson was telling the players to push up granted but they wern't, so perhaps he should have told Ricky G to get hold of the ball and try to cause them some problems?

Also, I thought Jussi was brilliant last night as was SKD. Mark Davies came on and showed some good touches, bit like a Danny Guthrie type of player maybe?

The Spurs game on Saturday is now huge and I would say it is a MUST WIN mainly becuase we are the home side. If we don't win, I would think the majority of the Reebok will be shouting Megson out.

Does Megson give unequal preference to 'his' signings.

Davies as a sub instead of Gardner last night is another example.

ermm, hardly

davies k was always going up top

plan was to put davies m wide right

gardner left peg is non too sparkling

his right, is for balance

And lets face it Gardner is not the best at 'holding the ball up his he', which is what you want if you are looking for an outlet ball

Looked to me that Basham went right and M Davies went in the centre.

think they swapped near the end.

but we were all over the place so was hard to tell

Thought the exact same myself

Smolarek and Riga aren't though.

He quickly made up his mind on those two players too.

I thought Davies was a bit off myself, he was fucked in 2nd half! mind you the whole team were breathing out of their arses 2nd half for some reason. Wonder why Megson didnt take them all off? :pardon:

Taylor is in simply cos he scores goals. Have we lost when he has scored?

GM should have brought Gardner on because at least when he gets the ball he would have tried to go forward at pace rather than sideways.

Not this season. 5 wins and last night's draw, I think!

30 seconds left? we get a corner,

taylor takes a cracker, robinson flaps and we should've won it

tahts why taylore plays and stays on

ffs, his goals/assists must be in the top 10 in the league

F365 pretty much sum up Matty Taylor in their winners and losers section today.

Matthew Taylor

Relative to his side's own standing in the league, Taylor has been one of the most influential players in the Premier League this season. After putting the gloss on a 3-1 victory at West Ham in October, Taylor scored the winner at Hull while his last four goals have all been recorded before the 20th-minute mark in games that Bolton have either won or drawn.
