Burndens Bogs Posted February 4, 2009 Share Posted February 4, 2009 Our CEO, in a conversation with a support said that we offered Davies a lucrative four and a half year deal but no where near what Bolton offered which was at a level that even after 15 years in football amazed him. Still I suspect we will get a few more quid for his U21 cap. Good luck to the lad. He will meet thre of his Wolves mates in the U21 squad. To expect him to have the same influence as Nolan, however, may be asking too much. p.s.
