Couldnt agree more with that, surely we could of got a big name team to play Its recognition for 10+ years service to the club and we organise a game against Hibernian

They had a part of one season together at Burnden Park.

 

Plus both Finnish and possibly both played in the National Squad at the same time (not too sure).

Mixu left in July/August 97.

Stadium opened in September 97

Jussi signed in November 97.

Hey your right about the Reebok - hadn't realised it was that old now!!!!! I honestly thought the first season was 98/99!

 

There is some connection between the two - otherwise why would have paid GBP100,000 for him (not a bad price considering how long and how good he is!!!!)

 

I always thought Mixu left in the 98 season - thats where my confusion came from.
