Zat Knight,Ferrie Bodde,and Lee Chung-Yong look to me like ambition looking at Yong on u-tube he reminds me of the ex winker down the road,maybe I was a little premature with my CAN MEGSON CHANGE OUR STYLE OF PLAY post,but we still need to see these players with the shirt on,and only then will I have optimism for the forthcoming season.But at least it shows Megsons aspirations and for that I doff my cap,if he can top that off with the signing of a Bellamy or Benjani then i will feel my season ticket money will be a bargain.If it is more spin from the club then I fear we are broke and administration beckons,but tonight I have my optomist head on.On another topic anybody any ideas who is on the list that Megson is willing to get rid of?.

Couple of points.

 

Transfer speculation shouldn't fill anyone with hope, you'll just be disappointed, unless these names actually came from the club and i've missed the press announcement.

i don't think he'll want to get rid of anyone until the squad is stronger.

 

Players like JOB and Vaz will get this season back from injury to prove themselves i think.

Players he would let go, probably Nicky Hunt, Riga, Tamir Cohen maybe one of A O'Brien or Shittu but not until we've brought in a centre back or two in

bellamy is no megson type signing.

Pacy strikers playing off Davies is what we have been crying out for.

I know a lot of people slag McCann off ,I personally thought he was one of our best players last season, I also think people slag him off cos they hear other people doing it, Much the same as the stick Nicky Hunt gets, Everyone is entitled to their own opinon though!!!

I think Meggos problem with Hunt is that he got a new 20k a week 4 year deal whilst LSL was in charge, I dont think Hunts hunchback helps either!

I can't see many leaving, Hunt is obviously the favourite, Samuel can provide cover at right back with Robinson at left back if needed. Basham or Joey O'Brien are probably also ahead of him in the pecking order.

I would keep Cohen, hes not looked a bad little squad player imo. Loves a tackle and gets forward to nick the odd goal, hes no world beater but every good team has a few steady players in the squad.
