Now, this bloke gets arrested for noncing a kid, for some fucking bizarre reasons is given bail, and suprise suprise he runs off before being caught 2 months later.

What goes through Judges minds sometimes?

He's got NONCE written all over him.

they can't find him?

i suggest they check out that BN forum

he actually looks more simple than evil

either way, he should be locked up

That photos familiar, haven't we discussed him on here before?

Anyone who looks like that wants locking up, sent for a bloody good scrub then shot!

I agree he should be beaten then killed to death, but what sort of 14 yo girl would go back to a tent with that?

His face looks like one of them pictures that you stare at and all of a sudden it becomes a picture of blackpool tower.

Did you read the article?

who had had a family argument

he "preyed on a vulnerable young girl who was upset".

S, however upset she was, one look at this bloke would scream "Stay away!" at any girl, 14, 34 or 94.

I don't think anyone this age could be so upset by a family argument that they forgot every bit of self-preservation skill learned over the previous 14 years.

Are you really surprised that the guy was given bail,i am not

one bit, just another indication how fcuked up things are at the mo.

Wrong, yes very :nea:

Did you read the article?

What MickyD said

Seriously blaming a 14year old kid is fucking beyond contempt.

I do not take this baord seriously but anyone putting the blame on the kid is a complete and utter cunt.

Am i right in thinking that sex with an underage girl is stautory rape, even when no force has been used? For example, if a 16 year old lad sleeps with his 15 year old girlfriend is that stautory rape?

I noticed the article smiffs linked to said 'sex attack' but others linked to it described it as rape. im concerned that something as serious as rape has been 'dumbed down' to sex attack ( which is bad enough anyway) , a sex attack can be putting your hand inside a bra of a child ( still wrong, but not rape)

Or, was the sex consensual? and its been classed as rape due to her age? What im saying is there is a big difference between being forcibly raped, and voluntarily having sex with someone who really shouldnt be having sex with you. Its undoubtedly wrong for a 50 year old man to be having sex with a 14 year old girl. But is rape and being taken advantage of, the same thing?

Ani dont go on one, im NOT blaming the child! Im asking questions!

Not very nice questions, but its no doubt the kind of thing that jurors on these cases have to consider.

Just looked into it further, he was originally charged with rape in september 2008 but actually found guilty of sexual activity with a child.

he is undoubtedly a nonce, BUT is he a rapist?

There's different levels of nonceness, apparently. 14& 15 year olds & the under 14s. I sort of understand why that's in place. If you were a parent of a 15 year old girl who you found doing a 16 year old, would you really try and get them prosecuted for it? I'm asking you parents out there.

HTH!

I agree he should be beaten then killed to death

Killed to death eh? It's the only way to go.

Woah there matey. Nothing I said blames the girl in any way, shape or form. I merely pointed out that, at 14 years old, she ought to have had more about her than walking off with a geezer who, on the face of it, looks like he'd be happy to bang the back doors off anything with a pulse.

Of course the deviant is to blame for putting himself in that position and then abusing the situation for his own gratification.

Asking questions about the incident is fair enough, whole point of a Board like this.

But to imply as others did that the 14 year was to blame in some way is just wrong.

The charge has been 'reduced' but that could have been because the kid was so traumatised by the event could nt give eveidence...maybe (pure speculation by me)

the point of the age of consent is that below that age you are judged not to be old enough to be old enough to understand what you are doing and the potential implication, a 40 year old bloke should know this, i know he looks dodgy but i think he was hurt in a fire so aint 'simple' as far as i know.

it gets a bit of a grey area when one person is say 15 and the other 17, but peados convince themselves what they are doing is ok because the kids 'enjoy it' or 'want it'. I have mate who works in child protection over here and although he never gives too much info out he did the other week talk about it briefly. The damage that can be done to even more mature kids by something like this is shocking. made worse by the guilt they are made to feel that what happened was their 'fault'

I don't think anybody implied it was the girls fault,

But if when my daughter is 14 willingly goes off with a fucking tramp into a tent regardless of wether we had fell out or not, i would seriously question my parenting

But to imply as others did that the 14 year was to blame in some way is just wrong.

And, as I'm the only person whose post can even nearly be viewed as placing the blame with her I take it you mean me. Well you're wrong! I merely stated that she ought to have run a mile from this chap not gone to him to find a shoulder to lean on.

I have a 12 year old daughter. If I fell out with her I wouldn't imagine she'd run straight into the arms of a guy who looks like that. I'd certainly hope I'd taught her enough, over the last 12 years, to be a little bit more savvy and street wise.

I agree he should be beaten then killed to death, but what sort of 14 yo girl would go back to a tent with that?

this post was nt blaming the girl then ?

or implying that she must be some sort to back to a tent with him ?

but she did nt run so by saying that you are saying she has at least conributed ot the situation, in these instances the kid is nt to blame it is not like a traffic accident where one party is 75% liable, the adult is 100% responsible.

Sorry Ani, I didn't read Warby's post as saying anything about what kind of girl she was. I understood the question though. What kind of 14 year old would go to a tent with a tramp? Hopefully not one that I've brought up!

Or are we maybe implying that she was enticed, dragged, kicking and screaming, kidnapped or anything else that isn't actually mentioned on either the news item or (probably) the charge sheet?

There is no detail about what happened so why start speculating about the circumstances.

a 14 year old girl has been sexually abused by a 40 year old bloke. You and Warby are questioning what 'type' of girl would find herself in that situation, what relevance is the 'type' of girl ?

If she went to the tent willingly would that make her to blame or a contributer to the crime ? If the adult was smartly dressed would that be better ?

I wouldn't care how the bloke was dressed but if MY daughter took sanctuary with a stranger of any sort let alone a tramp in a tent, then i have failed as a father
