From a previous post i'd put Gary Johnson, Aidy Boothroyd, Alan Curbishley and Gordon Strachan - all better than Fester 58's suggestions IMO but equally viable - if it happens it needs to be early enough so they have a chance to succeed - just when you thought last seasons kit couldn't get any worse and it did well fuck me if they appointed Glenn Roeder I think I would crash to my knees and weep.

Johnson - don't know enough about him to give an opinion.

Curbishley - Seems to have lost it, would he take a job up here anyway?

Strachan - Nightmare for me, gobby 80's type manager like Souness, times have changed, he hasn't.

You may well be right but his position is verging on untenable now - fans fighting again at half time over this issue equals a seriously divided club it has got to stop and everyone knows the only way to do it - no way on earth gary can come back to a long even medium term tenable position at BWFC it's gone to far - I'd say for his sake he needs to move on - he's got "kept us up for 2 seasons" on his CV and a league or two below, that fact will get him a job.

I agree what he said was wrong but he apologised and admitted what he said was wrong. The guy's also managed Chelsea, Spurs and England...

Hierro is doing very well as coach of the Spanish u21s,and Speed is player coach at Sheff Utd both have connections to the club albeit in Hierro's case just 1 season,but I seriously think they could get a lot more out of our current squad than the present incumbent can.

Although I seriously doubt we could geet Hierro to come it's still a better combination than most have come up with imo.
