Roast Kid (goat)

Tastes a bit like you'd imagine an old person would taste when baked, quite tough and not that tasty. Maybe it needed a bit more salty sauces?

I can however recommend a Francesinha, bread, ham, sausage and steak coated in melted cheese, served with chips and an egg on top then covered with a beer sauce.

Had some las month in Camden when Ex-Leed and Alibob were down.

Needs a strong sauce (I had it in a curry).

Otherwise very slow roasted on the bone to make it a lot more tender at a guess

I thought this thread was going to be about Widders getting a good seeing to by 2 minxes at the same time - apologies.

I had some last week and it was gorgeous

But the chap who gave it to me insisted I eat the bones too, I thought he was taking the piss but he was being deadly serious

I thought you'd be repulsed, and consider it infanticide

Not particularly spicy, more smoked. You couldn't taste it past the chilli in the sauce anyway. 3000 calories, it'd stop a hangover DEAD.

Chourico or linguica, perhaps?

Used to be a little snack bar on Upper Chorlton Rd in Manc selling good goat barm cakes, and other cakes, if you were still hungry

I had one of these in a Portuguese cafe just after the 'Battle of Ribiera'

I nearly burst my stomach. Fantastic! Superbok and a Heart attack!

top, top food. I had something like that in London a few weeks ago, I nearly exploded after I ate it as I was so full, and it seemed to get spicier and spicier the more I ate.

Talking of Portugese food, is that restaurant in Bolton near the casino still open, it is/was called Brazza I think. I remeber driving past it several times, and not seeing a soul inside

I'm not surprised at those prices! Povoa de Varzim, 85 cents a Super Bock :good:

It was in a daft place for a restaraunt, and although i tried it once it was cold in there and i kept my jacket on, the service was polite but very slow and even though the food was nice i felt no need to go back.
