there was an anouncement after about an hour of wating saying morrissey was seriously ill and the gig was not going ahead,just checking out sky news now.

spot on i have ony been to swindon twice,once to watch bolton and the other tonight, we struggled to fing a pub near the venue and ened up in a wetherspoons that was still about 2 miles away from the gig.

No, I am not sure what the policy is for a gig that has been stopped due to illness.I bought the tickets from seetickets online their policy on cancelled gigs is to offer you your money back or if the gig is re-arranged the tickets will be valid for the new date.

Saturday night's gig at the Liverpool Echo Arena ended very early too!

 

He opened the concert with the words: "It's Saturday, it's Liverpool, it's raining, it's perfect" before launching into "This Charming Man".

 

But during his second song, Black Cloud, a plastic bottle of beer was hurled toward him, which hit him in the eye and he decided to call it a day.

 

Pretty shit for those who wanted to see the concert, but I reckon he was well within his rights to abandon it. 50 yr old blokes don't want to have to dodge missiles whilst singing.

Much as I wouldn't cross the road to watch the depressing fcuker, it seems unfair and a bit daft to pay the entrance money and end the gig after two numbers by throwing missiles at him.
