January 15, 201016 yr In all seriousness it's a fucking travesty that a young lad like this, who grafts, will have less money in his pocket than skiving, benefit fiddling cunts (and there's millions of them). And he has to weigh up whether he can afford to have a child, despite both parents working. That's bollocks and somewhere along the line, we've lost the plot in this country...

Because the way it is at the moment, the people who never intend to work get it for free through benefits when the wasters would be at home anyway to look after their own children. Whilst those with careers would have to fork out over ?500 p/month p/child for the benefit of going back to work to pay tax?? As an example I have a cousin who earns just above minimum wage, his missus does nowt, 3 kids get majority of full time private nursery paid for from government! Me and missus both work, and when both boys were nursery age we had bill of over a grand a month, add the tax paid onto that and it is hardly surprising people on lower incomes dont bother going back to work is it? Would make more sense to me to offer free childcare to those who work over 25 hours a week, and those without a job can look their own offspring!! Edited January 15, 201016 yr by JimmyRiddle
