January 13, 201016 yr Anyone here have kids in childcare ?? Wondering how much nursery fees are per day.. TA !! I have 2 kids aged 2 and 1, we pay ?850 per month at a childminders, we get about 150 quid of that paid for by Gordon Brown!!!
January 13, 201016 yr If you can get childcare vouchers- do so Used to pay ?30+ per day. When the little 'un left, we got a breakdown of costs since he'd been there: over ?11,000! That's a lot of season tickets.... In fairness though, good nursery.
January 13, 201016 yr Both ours were in since they were pups, and at ?30 a day average it mounts up over the years. If you can, try and get a relative to help out once or twice a week as well. If they can, get them on Mondays because thats when the bank holidays are and you still have to pay for them. If you do Wed-Fri then you miss them which saves a couple of hundred a year. Gordon Brown pays for one session a week when they are 4 which is worth about threpance. There is also a tax break on your earnings based on what you pay but I cant rememebr how it works. Ring the Revenue and they'll tell you.

January 13, 201016 yr Not his money, but ours You are welcome, of course! aye, the whole thing is a load of bollocks. if they werent so fookin expensive then our taxes wouldnt need to subsidise it. the missus has worked for 3 nurserys before we had little un and they pay absolute pittance yet charge a fortune. fookin goldmine that business if you get it 'right'.
