Is it just me or is it a lot slower navigating between pages since the update.

It was fairly fast to load a page in the past but takes a couple of seconds now.

Appears ok to me. Let me know if if you continue to have this problem.

Would it be possible to have a link to the Forums page at the bottom of a page as well as the top?

That's as in A BUTTON not a button that drops a box down that you then hit the bit you want to be at.

I know they are there and available, but they'd be better in view as you finish reading...not having to scroll down

tis all

Thanks Cas. It was my point.. I didn't actually know they were there because I never scroll down further than the final post.

Thanks for your comments but it isn't going happen.

There are 2 options available already which is enough. If you start to clog the view up with too many buttons it effects the view and structure of the page.

No comment other than, if there's already two, why not move the lower one 6" further up the page? Simples!

It's sloooow in IE 7 and 8 for me. It's quicker on my iPhone so I've just installed Opera and WW flies. Odd.

Is it because the German IT Police are keeping us on IE 6, that every so often WW closes down my internet open windows? It doesn't happen on anyother sites, just WW!

I'm replying back to this using IE6 and that doesn't happen here.

Iam also finding it very slow and "stuttering"

Any suggestions? No smart arsed comments Iam not in the mood.

Iam internet explorer but not sure what number.

It happened this morning, thus, prompting the post but since i've been back on WW a couple of times without problem.

Can't predict and I reckon impossible to replicate - I just wondered if anyone else is having a similar problem or its down to my internet link at work going to Germany and back to find WW!

I've fully tested it on IE8 and it's fine.

Try a system clean up on your pc and make sure you clear you cookies, there is a button at the foot of the page for that (delete my cookies).

The view count/reply count.

Taken from a thread this morning (but not displayed as on the board)

How do we get 9 replies to a post which hasn't been viewed yet?

The previous post was editted accidentally. It was originally a question asking what the point was of having a delete cookies button which only deleted a cookie set by this site. What is a cookie for other than to tell your computer that you've visited before and you can go straight in without the need to log in?

Seriously, I could learn something here.

It's the default setting for the forum as it is less strain on the server load, instead of incrementing every time, it updates periodically.

It's for when changes are made to 'this' site. By removing the old cookies it keeps you and your system up to date.
