gonzo Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 (edited) absoloutly robbed in the womens speed skating..our lass kicked out for nothing! chink did same thing in next race and got away scot free.. then in the womens curling we fight back from 4-1 to 4-3,then 5-4 and now 4-6 weve fucked it against some lovely swedish curlers(sure ive seen a dvd named similar)...think i need to go to bed. gonzo Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 absoloutly pissing it in the womens curling against russia(who are delightfull by the way!) also well ahead in the womens skelteon bob sleigh amy williams is doing well,miles better than the bird that won gold last time..shes around 8th or somwhere in the back serving the eggnog i think. bobsleigh had to be delayed because it was too sunny and the ice was melting!!..great organisation i must say,hold the winter olympics where its too warm and sunny..theyve already run out of snow!..next games id go for the arctic circle to be safe. we are crap in the womens snowboarding halfpipe event..our best hope decked it twice in consecutive runs..shes rubbish altough a bit better than me.mens figure skating not a brit to be seen but lovley costumes! im kind of getting the feeling im the only member on wways prepared to sit up all night and watch this crap!

gonzo Posted February 20, 2010 Posted February 20, 2010 didnt see much of ice hockey,canada last night was belting though,went to pens! it was like that mighty duck film!...no?...just me then. womens curling team beating japan 1-0,way to go, but form says its a dead cert.japs are rubbish with a broom.to be honest not much else going on. mixed ice skating early stages,crap band on t'other channel. only mens skeleton to come.. i was on my way to bed,but through nothing but luck i found a half empty bottle of smirnoff vodka,but what do i have it with?..straight?..wont last long enough to see the mens skeleton!,..so,my fridge has milk,a mouthfull of orange cordial(un-mixed,therefore useless) and seeing as vodka doesnt really go with half empty tins of dog food or eggs,my night is over!..but my word? what is that i see just above the fridge?..a bottle of oasis pinapple..perfecto! vodka oasis cocktails=mens bobsleigh skeleton.

TV does ice hockey no justice, it's a different game live, the pucks easyer to follow and live you see that the hits are hard, bloody hard,I only caught the o/t but that was good

As you say it was difficult to follow the puck on tv but the two teams seemed evenly matched. Thought the USA shaded it but what do I know. Gave up at full time and went to bed think that the USA would go on to win having come from 2-0 down and equalised with 25 secs to go. Weird to see Canadians getting so excited and patriotic. They kept saying its equivalent to England playing Argentina or Germany in a world cup final.
