Heard the same story yesterday from a Derby fan, probably because of the Kris Commons link.

 

If it is true and the NOTW has the story, it makes me laugh that the sun is running adverts about how we might win the world cup.

 

Yet its so called sister paper is the one bringing down our so called best players.

I agree with your general sentiment but (if this is true) Gerrard is bringing himself down.

Whether or not it's got anything to do with his football is debatable; representing England might be another argument.
