Jack Wilshire

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has revealed he plans to keep Jack Wilshere at the club for the new season.

Wilsherespacer.gif enjoyed a successful loan spell at Bolton last season and was tipped to go out on another loan this term.

Bolton have expressed a keen interest in bringing the talented midfielder back to the Reebok Stadium, while a number of other Premier League sides are understood to be monitoring the 18-year-old's situation.

However, Wenger insists Wilshere will stay at Arsenalspacer.gif as he is set to figure in his plans for the upcoming campaign.

"I think I will keep him (this season)," Wenger said. "He can play on the flank or in the middle, deeper or wider as well. He should get a few games."

  • That's fair comment. Taylor has his limitations. But he delivers. Without him, we'd be in the Championship.  Wilshere can pick out a pretty pass or two, but most of the time it amounts to nothing.

It is time BWFC wafted 8 million under Wengers nose.

On sky sports as well... Arrested following assault involving a woman

Funny how some papers report this as a headline,

England footballer Jack Wilshere arrested after woman left with broken arm during night out in London

but add this bit only at the end:

Wilshere's spokesman said: 'Jack Wilshere was arrested by police in the early hours following a fracas but was released on bail later.

'The police have made it very clear that he is an important witness to the incident and played the role of peacemaker and is unlikely to face any charges as a result.

'Jack has made it very clear he will co-operate fully with the police investigation.'

Aye, presume it was a red top. Don't you just love them?

Err.. not being funny like, but what bit of what was reported isn't true?

Not saying the lad did anything, sincerely hope not.

But it was only his 'spokesman' who said those things, not the police.

Daresay Lee Bowyers 'spokesman' said similar things when his client was arrested for one of his many misdeamenours.

Why do footballers put themselves in these positions?

What is he doing out in the "early hours"?

Silly boys

Somebody broke a girls arm. That bit isn't in doubt.

Now I like many on here am no angel, but that's not big or clever.

Problem is that young rich footballers always end up surrounded by fuckwits who get them into trouble. Much as I hate him, Whisky-nose is one of the few managers who have a good go at stopping this happening, or at least gets rid of players when it does.

I agree with all that, but the question was what is he doing out in the early hours.
