Just tried to get a ticket for Spurs for a mate who is coming over from Holland. After speaking to someone at Ticketmaster who said he thought it was 'sold out', I tried again and got the ticket office.

 

Apparently I can only but a Spurs ticket as part of the 3 game package - the don't go on sale individually until Friday.

Am i missing something? whats the problem, can you not just buy them on friday?

With falling home attendances, should they not be selling tickets now for any future games?

Its worth the club holding out on selling them separately in the hope that they sell a shed load of the packages, Lets be fair it's be pretty pointless to advertise the good value on the package if they can provide the tickets for the 3 games because they've sold them separately.

To be fair to the club do nt think match tickets go on sales for any game untill a couple of weeks before the game.

 

It does seem wrong however to say to a potential customer we do not want your money yet.

The club should be selling tickets for ALL the games. We have not sold out for any game in years so why not maximise the chances. Have them all on the on-line sales as well.

indeed, most games don't go on sale til a few weeks before hand, as the spurs game is weeks away the tickets won't be on sale yet.

 

Just buy it closer to the time, it's not that much of an arse surely?

No he can't, at least not at Bolton Central. I just called in to get some for 6 Finnish lads who are coming over for the game and was told to come back next week as they aren't on sale yet, even though the website states that they are. I could have got them a 3 game package though.

With the way games are moved for sky, cup matches etc, you'd be annoyed buying the ticket for a saturday match in march now, only to be told in january it's being moved to monday night for sky and your not able to go that night.
