Also there that night - Burnden Terrace. 25 years though - where did they go? Definitely the low point - absolutely awful (although Aldershot home 2-2 comes close with relegation to the 4th, plus a Bristol City home night match where we lost 4-1 I think - "one player trying" was the chant - Warren Joyce).

Just had a wander down memory lane via the nigel sheppard website,brought back many memories trips to plough lane could not believe there was less than 3k on that day, also remember making the trip to newport for a defeat again less than 3k on, amazing if you pan forward each season since we have had some massive games, reccomend for the older fans take a look back and wallow in nostalgia it is amazing you look at a fixture from 20 30 years ago and your back to being 20 again as the feelings and memories from that day wash over you.

Presumably you're posting this because you were one of the 2,902? You come across as a bit of a nob at times on here but fair play to you if you were there. I always take some perverse pride in seeing Bolton in all 4 divisions.

Aye, Plough Lane Was it pissing down or snowing? I just remember the weather was shite; oh and exiting via the home end I went for a piss and they turned the lights off (presumably to save money) so I'm pissing in the dark. I knew where I was aiming but I was a bit worried about the geezer next to me. Happy days
