February 21, 201115 yr Question for Bolty and other overseas trotters. Would you make the trip back home to Wembley if we got to the FA Cup final
February 21, 201115 yr Author And a second question to everyone: should the overseas contingent be given tickets? You know where I'm going with this: it's not a dig at Bolty et al, you see it in the papers about fans flying in for Cup Finals and the club "finding" them a ticket, yet there'll possibly be season ticket holders/lifeliners/club members go short.

How many ST holders have we got at the minute? 13,000ish? - I would expect, should we make the final, that every ST holder should be able to get a ticket. Unless they make a monumental fuck up like the last time we made a final

February 21, 201115 yr Question for Bolty and other overseas trotters. Would you make the trip back home to Wembley if we got to the FA Cup final Came back in 95 for Wembley. Went to Skopje (attended home leg too) and Madrid. Been back for plenty of other 'nondescript' games at Burnden and the Reebok. Lost track a bit now but around 40-45 games all up since Feb '88 - the last being Brum at home this season. Equates to just over a season I suppose with costs for a lot of bloody seasons. Bearing all this in mind and Trafs comment, I am ashamed. As such, I now don't now know if my conscience would allow me to be there should we make it.
February 21, 201115 yr Damned right it would. You have as much, if not more right than some wife whose husband is in the Lifeline!

Yeh right Mr Bolts....... i think we all know that wild horses wouldn't keep you away, if BWFC reached the FA Cup final
February 22, 201115 yr It would be hard convincing the missus that a $5,000 trip back to the motherland for (as she would say) "a game of football" would be money well spent. I might have to tell here that I am working away for a couple of weeks. Do us overseas fans deserve a ticket? Probably not, but I have certainly spent enough money with the club over the years to a least try and get one for a cup final. Although we have not got season tickets and attend matches it does not change how much we love the club, we do get up at some un godly hours to watch the games.
February 22, 201115 yr Author Bearing all this in mind Trafs comment, I am ashamed. . Don't talk wet, lad. Tha knows I'm pulling your leg. I'll tell you what, if we get to the final and you get your arse over for it and you can't get a ticket and I've got one: you can have mine.
February 22, 201115 yr By hook or by crook we'll look after our own i'm sure; even if I need to queue all night for you a ticket. Truth is, I actually enjoyed the all nighter for the Carling Cup game, and it introduced of to this site.
February 22, 201115 yr I remember queueing from 2am to get a dozen Coca Cola Cup final tickets against Liverpool in 1995 - i'll delegate next time!
February 22, 201115 yr Don't talk wet, lad. Tha knows I'm pulling your leg. Just being mischievous Seriously, I will be there and will travel to London and get on the p?ss with my own even if I couldn't get a ticket. I would have to at least be in the vicinity!
