Decent interview on the mail website , very honest and i dont think any of us can blame the lad or have a bad word to say about him .

 

Personally , i,d like to see him play at arsenal instead of the scouse and the mancs (and before any muppets say he aint gone yet) yes i know but we also know its going to happen unfortunately .

I'd like to see him at Milan.

as long as we are adequately compensated then i'll be happy for him to move on to bigger and better things.

 

 

if he goes on the cheap, it will leave a very sour taste, whether that be his fault or not.

I was hopeful of holding onto him for another season, albeit blind hope I guess.

After reading that it seems he will deffo be off this summer. Shame, but thats life.

He gave junior marple his shirt after Stoke away I have tried numerous "club" avenues to get it signed

and was either refused or told there would be a cost.

 

Waited in the devere reception for the players on saturday and he was the last player to arrive.

But he remembered giving the shirt and was only too happy to sign and dedicate it to young marple.

 

Once framed this will make a fantastic souvenier. Just shows that some footballers are genuine.

I can not fault the lad,he will always be welcomed back, and can not see him slagging the club off when he does leave.

I think the interesting thing is the unstinting praise he gives to Coyle. Was sitting with Jack Wilshere's uncle this am at work and he was saying thar JW regularly still calls OC for support/advice and guidance (and keeps in touch with some of the players as well). Seems like a real bond exists there.

 

Coyle is I suspect a great man manager who knows how to handle a range of different people - not like one-dimensional proles like Megson. OC's departure is the one I fear.
