x_bwfc_bexy_x Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 i just want to rant about a few things about the semi finals. feel free to join in or give your opinions. first things first, during the match all i could see on facebook is 'non bolton fans' hahahahaha bolton getting beat, 'bolton dont deserve to be there' mainly from man utd fans who decide to put man utd statics on their status'..these very same fans who dont even go to watch their 'beloveded team'. i said to one friend, 'when was the last time you went to a man utd match' she replied 'last year i have 2 kids so cant afford it now' her kids being 1 and 2 (i think or maybe older) sorry, but surely a new born would cost more than a 1 and 2 year old. clearly she doesnt even follow football if she thinks she went last year but for some reason cant afford to go this year because shes got 2 kids?! next is the liverpool fans laughing and taking the piss... ERRRR HELLO!! DID YOUR TEAM GET TO THE SEMI FINALS? NO I THINK NOT. so pipe down! these 'fans' of other teams really rile me up as they dont even go to match's....'armchair fans' the second thing is i hear people are complaining they want their money back for the tickets for wembley on sunday. we are all devastated, the players just didnt 'turn up' (if you get what i mean) we lost but at the end of the day, BE PROUD!! bolton got to wembley, where was the likes of chelsea, arsenal and liverpool? all top teams who didnt get to the semi finals. people who are complaining and went to wembley wouldnt be complaining if we had lost 3-2 or even won so why whinge now? the lads seem deeply sorry about their performance. yes it would of been nice to be in the finals, but lets just remember we may just do that next time. third thing is 'so called bolton fans' saying 'oh bolton are shit, i dont like them anymore' you are not a fan! yeah, we got a hammering, but ill never stop being a bolton fan because of that. these people need to remember we are a good 8TH in the premiership. god i just want to shake some people. ps this is NOT aimed at anyone on here as ive only just come on to post this. rant over, i feel much better now thanks! hope everyones okay x
no balls Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 Minor point regarding your comments on facebook. I presume you can only see the comments of friends. I'd suggest you edit your setting accordingly if you don't like it. Also, why would you be looking on facebook during the match? How odd.

Because of the manner of the defeat. If they put some effort in, play well & lose because Stoke were the better team then fine. At least we could take some pride in it.

Losing 5-0 to Stoke is about the same level of ineptitude as losing 9-1 at Tottenham.There is a precedent for players refunding fans money after an abysmal showing. We need to start takin our chances when we get them, boro game was the same! why will be waiting another 11 years? why is their so much doubt? okay they didnt perform to their best standard, they didnt even perform atall but lets not underestimate what bolton are capable of. im pretty sure owen coyle will know next time whats right for them. im feeling the carling cup final too. we lost, i just think people need to move on and look at the future and what chances we could have. bolton are a good side, seems they just werent prepared for wembley Because of the manner of the defeat. Thats slightly different though. 200 odd fans or whatever they probably took to 27,000 at more expensive tickets. A lot easier for them to do.
