We deal with drug and alcohol clients, so I see the [very] bad side of both

Alcohol and Tobacco are far worse drugs than Pills, Weed and Coke.

 

I was watching a documentary the other night, 144,000 people per year die through smoking, 80,000 through drink and just 15, yes 15 not 15k through Ecstasy

 

If they were invented today they would be banned without doubt.

 

But there are more people who smoke and drink alcohol than there are who use drugs so those figures are not surprising. It would be more informative to give figures as a percentage of users of each element.

 

Getting back to the title of the thread: Serious drinkers don't drink lager. Lager is only drunk in pubs where the beer is bad. That is why the Scots drink lager.

That Stella Cidre tastes like piss. If your going to have a Cider that tastes like pop, better off sticking with Strongbow.

Alcohol is a horrible thing if you get dependant on it but so is coke - the stuff turns your head and makes you a nasty fucker if you get that far gone. I think all drugs, legalised or not, have that affect if you are addicted but I really don't think, like many do, that coke is fairly harmless because its not.

 

That said, if we go for long term health then it has to be alcohol but maybe thats because we all drink more/have done for longer?

 

Not all drugs a physically addictive though.

 

Coca la mix is though. Dids (not our local doo-goody cousin shagger) aren't, and were rated about 18th out of 20 by the top dog who got sacked from government. (1 being worst, heroin, 2 cocain.. both opioids)

From there its to Manchester Northern quarter where we shall sup some more of Manchesters finest. Then it`s back to the Jolly Nsilor Atherton till early hours. A full day swilling, heaven.
