Someone said a plane had crashed into the WTC and u assumed it was a small one and an accident as that had happened to another NY building a few weeks before

 

Therefore assuming it wasn't "serious" I sent an email around the office saying it was obviously a woman piloting the plane

 

Doh

I was on site in Barrowford getting my head pecked by a rep. A piler came in and told me what had happened.

 

All very bizarre. I thought driving home we were all going to get called up for the army the next day

working at toys r us. Being told bits an pieces.. at first it was "a bombs gone off in new york", .. then the truth came out.. I watched it on a display telly with about 20 customers stood round the little screen.
