Agreed. Next year they're doing one in Porto as well as Barcelona. It falls on my birthday too, rude not to.

Now then, I saw that. Barcelona is expensive, well not that expensive but it can be...

 

Porto is a cheap as you can get in Europe. No fucker goes there as it's not the Algarve, it's held near Povoa de Varzim that I usually stay in when I go there (or Vila do Conde). Superbock is 0.90 Euro and decent restaurants are about a tenner a head. There's picture of it on my facebooks somewhere, end of the metro line, on the beach, nice people, friendly as you like and no pickpockets which is a bonus.
