Storage

Has anyone used anywhere like Safe Store etc..

Wondering how much they charge but dont fancy the endless calls after an enquiry..

I enquired at Alligator Storage ( the old Vernon's mill, bottom of Blackburn Rd )early this year.

It looks like ...?21 per week for 75 sq ft

or ?26 per week for 100 sq ft, which apparently should be enough for a normal house contents, but don't take this as gospel 'cos i'm reading off a scribbled bit of paper.

Apex Self Storage :good:

Store my stuff at Adams at Swan Lane Mill, costs ?289 a month all in for 500 sq. feet.

Then again, I do have all sorts of crap in there!

Isn't it worth like, buying a house and putting it in that?

How does someone accumulate 500 sq. feet of crap? CofS, have you thought of going on one of those Discovery Home & Leisure programmes?

Erm, yes I have... Why don't you just take over that room I have you crazy fool? 44 quid a month.

I've used aligator in the past and was decent and cheapish, I did blag discount cos I said it would be long term plus the hours for access are good too

Ask Big E, it was mostly his fault......

Garage at home - full of crap

Shed at home - same

Conservatory at home - much the same

Shed at mum & dads - ditto

Garage at mum & dads - alas, as above.....

I was seriously considering opening some kind of emporium a few weeks ago, some might call it unecessary hoarding, I'll call it 'you never know when you might need it/be able to flog it on at a huge profit'

Seriously, it's mostly remains of job lots I bought over the years together with furniture and machinery I keep in stock.

And then there are the bits of cars and bikes, mostly stuff I swapped for something which I never owned. I really must have a clearout as I fear I'm turning into Gollum with my 'precious things'

So if anyone wants any office furniture, printers, Escort/Cadillac/Berkeley/MG/Morris/Merc/BMW/Honda/Yamaha bits, books, magazines, antiques, old tellys, then give me a bell. There's even an old space invader type thing machine in there but don't ask me which one it is as it's never worked.

Maybe it's a good job I didn't open a scrapyard as I'd never sell anything :bang:
