SWP, people had steam coming out of their ears that we didn't meet whatever demands he made. After 1 game at QPR the media were clamouring for an England call up!

Is this honestly a shock to anyone? How else did they think they attracted some of the players they've signed. It's not as if they had European football to offer them is it so it could only be the mighty dollar that tempted players to them as opposed to the other clubs that were interested.
