How long until the football world implodes and cannot cope with these stupid losses. its getting ridicilous.

So to summarize this season:

League and F A Cup won by Arab billionaires,

Champions league won by Russian billionaire,

Carling cup won by American billionaires.

Millions are no longer enough

So Abramovich is both an Arab and a Russian. Neat trick.

And a Roman.

And a Jew, surely.

Something has to be done to make the premier league a fairer competition otherwise it will just become more and more boring each season, the muppets that run football surely must see this, the question is do they have the foresight or courage to do something to make it a competition again? I can see the day coming when thousands of football fans switch off from watching the game at the top level and become more involved with watching the game down the ladder.

Unfortunately, despite the mad spending going on, last season's league was probably the "most exciting ever"

Champions settled in injury time of the last day.

Champs / Europa league placing not settled until last day, the same with our relegation.

Probably the most eventful and meaningful last day ever.

I'm not saying I don't agree with MK, but people will invariably resort to using facts.

What about the other 12-14 clubs sat in the doldrums who have zero prospect of achieving anything other than survival or the odd glimmer of Europa league and most likely running at massive loss season in season out.

Like I said, I don't disagree with you.

But last season has been portrayed as the best ever, since Sky invented football in 1992.

Football quite simply will implode one day, it has to. Even our own "top 4" clubs are now a "top 6" fighting for the CL places. The BPL will suffer once another league around the world becomes more desirable to watch...........I'm not sure if or when this will happen, but the BPL is propped up in the main by foreign TV money.

There is something very wrong about claiming "success" if you manage to finish 16th or 17th out of 20 - the days of small teams like Bolton finishing ion the top 10 are going to be very few and far between now. The game/business has moved on massively since we achieved those copnsecutive top 8 finishes.

Whilst the BPL is the "only place to be", it's boring as fuck for the likes of us in reality

Who won the FA Cup?

It's a fair cop.

City won it last year didn't they?

Booze addling my brain again
