August 16, 201214 yr Is there not a 90 day limit on his release clause where if he doesn't find a new club we have to take him back on with the same terms. A Newcastle player had the same issue a week or two back I think.
August 16, 201214 yr He signed for us pretty late in the close season last year, which suggested not a lot of offers around then either. Back then, he was talking up being convinced about the club's future direction. Less than one year later, he off in a different direction. I rate him, would have loved to have seen him play for us this season. I'd be more confident about a quick return to the Prem. funny you thought that, I thought it was quite early! checked and he signed July 27th last year late-ish, but in BWFC terms early
