August 21, 201213 yr "Sky Sports understands Tottenham are ready to loan out Tom Huddlestone with Stoke the front-runners for his signature" Yes Please
August 21, 201213 yr Tom who ? Is he still around ? Last time I saw him he was clever, good shot, but pretty slow ............ and doubt he'd defend better than Mark D.
August 21, 201213 yr No chance he will drop a division After sixteen appearances in two seasons, I reckon he'll do what the new manager tells him. I'm not sure he's what we're after anyway.
August 21, 201213 yr He sits in front of the back four pinging 60m Hollywood balls about, not what we need in this division. Cattermole as someone mentioned last week is more like it.
August 21, 201213 yr Cattermole as someone mentioned last week is more like it. what for? the record of most reds cards in a season
August 21, 201213 yr owen coyle to put a player on the park who's sole job is to win the ball back?? more chance of signing tom huddlestone.
August 21, 201213 yr Cattermole? Huddlestone? lads we're not in the PL anymore we couldn't even get NRC to stay
August 21, 201213 yr we had that exact same player at the club but mr coyle chose not to use him time and again, unfortunately the said player has now retired and mr coyle is on the lookout for the same type you couldnt make it up.

August 21, 201213 yr If we kept possession a bit more we could probably live without a ball winning midfielder. And put less constant pressure on the defence so that when we are wide open in midfield knight et al aren't knackerd having spent the last 20 minutes keeping whoever out. Burnley seemed to get along nicely with McCann and marney in centre mid.

I don't know the point you are making. anyways, i reckon holden is a long way off coming back despite the reports saying october, a DM is needed huddlestone, cattermole are laughable targets NRC is not coming back, Jay spearing is a decent player who can put a shift in.
August 21, 201213 yr Huddlestone despite being a mountain of a chap, is also not a tackler/ball-winner. He's a big fairy, albeit one who's very good on the ball. There'll be a queue of far more appealing teams than us if he becomes available anyway, Edited August 21, 201213 yr by DazBobParr
