Proof (If Ever It Was Needed)

That the Scottish prem' is cack. If this young en will get first team games in a league with Champions League qualification position; but can't get a game in the Championship!

Matt,

Don't lower yourself to a conversation with the Coyle-loving fucktard.

Don't think you'll find many folk who will disagree that the SPL is pretty much the equivalent of League One. In fairness there's certainly been an increase recently in young SPL players making a success of themselves down here though.

Lets hope this lad cuts the mustard

Without wanting to sound like Smithill's, McArthur and McCarthy at Wigan did well after coming through at Hamilton, so hopefully he's from the same mould. Playing in the SPL should at least help prepare him for the physical side of the Championship.

I'm very pleased we are keeping an eye out for future talent. Makes perfect sense. In Douglas we trust.

I don't get this deal.

He's 19, not a kid, but apparently not ready to be in our Championship squad.

And we're sending him back to the SPL for a season ?  Wouldn't 6 months at a League-1 club be more useful if we feel a loan period is necessary ?

I hope he turns out as good as some other imports from Scotland, but seems an odd start.

he'll play week in week out in the Scotch league but only be a bit part player here.

I guess Dougie would prefer him playing in the spl over league 1 and who am I to doubt dougie.
