Northern Monkeys is worth a read too, more about sub cultures and music up north from the Northern Soul scene to raves etc. Some shambolic grammar and spelling in it but it's good

Our mutual poster friend off that clobber board you go on was telling me about that book last week,said its pretty good.

 

That scum airways was shocking in parts regarding how things we/are run...the whole scam for the champions league final with the press passes in particular!

 

My united supporting mate bought Chelsea away tickets last season but one,off a tout,he was directed to the radisson hotel with a name to tell the reception in which he was then given a room number.

 

When he got in the room there was a guy at the table with a wad of tickets for all of Uniteds forthcoming away games and loads of season tickets,my mate just said 2 for Chelsea and got the hell out of there! So it doesn't look like that book had any kind of detrimental effect!

 

Wullie,think its about us in the red army book,although im sure it gets mentioned in the MIB book also...ill have a scan through when I get chance.

 

Fair play to united that day by the way...played a blinder.

Same thing happened at the Dortmund game I went to, had to go to hotel where these blokes had piles and piles of season tickets. Its just Viagogo makes it more above board!

 

Couldn't believe the Champions League stuff, robbing those bibs with the logo on days in advance so they could go and stand in the media area!
