March 12, 201412 yr Got some today, 5.3% and £2.50 (I think) for 4 cans (440ml). Can't tell it from Strongbow, in fact, it tastes like Strongbow did until they recently fucked about with it. It's a resounding yes from me.
March 13, 201412 yr Will have to give it a trial run for Charlton, could be a new signing for next seasons train trips
March 13, 201412 yr Jazza used to swear by this stuff, he once took 240 empty cans to the recycling centre a fortnight after his previous visit.
March 13, 201412 yr Cant go wrong with the St Etienne Lager, brewed in Belgium by inbev and is rebadged Stella apparently, albeit probably the slops

The picture he took of the empties from one of his benders still haunts me. nb Bender as in sesh not a reference to the Brighton thread. nb nb as in Nota bene not the poster who puts Mayo on chips

Sexual depravity and perversion in Sussex and mayo on chips. What a fucking screwed up forum this is! Mayo! On chips!!
March 13, 201412 yr At Lidl they sell a Strongbow-a-like (in look only) in 2 litre bottles (same type of colouring/labelling etc.) Avoid like the plague, can't remember the name, the black screwtop says 'Brewed by Woodgate' - it's packaged to look like amber, dry cider but has a definite cheesey 'White Cidery' aftertaste - sort of like they've 'blended' a real cider with a White 'Cider' - which all us cheapskate ciderheads know is merely feremented corn syrup with some water and a few apple cores dropped in at the last minute... I drank three pints of this Lidl 'Strongbow' and the next thing I knew I was squatting on my haunches outside the train station, with next door's dog on a string and a empty Mcdonalds cup in my hand. Looking all downtrodden and glum... Edited March 13, 201412 yr by Youri McAnespie
March 13, 201412 yr Before anyone asks why I was in Lidl in the first place, I'll shop at the nearest one I'm passing, be it Booths or Home Bargains - can't be arsed specifically going to a supermarket for essentials like milk, eggs or, erm... cider Lidl get's a thumbs down - they hardly sell any 'novelty' items like lump hammers or Teriyaki Grills... Oh aye, thermostat controlled shower mixer/tap units in Aldi t'tother day (including shower head and rail) £79.99...What's the worst that could happen? (apart from scalding yourself if it fails?) March 13, 201412 yr The pear one isn't bad either, if you wanted to "treat a lady" I presume you can drink it if you're queer as well.
