    Yes it had, but I reiterate what I said earlier, bolton fans don't need excuses half the time. What had happened beforehand was quickly forgotten it was what happened that day. We could of been top of the premier league and it wouldn't of mattered.

     

    We took a decent following, some who probably had hardly been that season, they turn out we get absolutely battered and it reinforces why they never bother. In their opinion. And NOTHING that has happened since (well maybe the final game of last season) draws them back!
