Fa Cup Final

There was a time when the entire day would be dedicated to this game. Bigger than the league title in its day.

 

Which is the first one you remember watching? Mine was Fulham v West Ham in 1975. Two things i remember from that day. Bobby Moore played his last ever game at Wembley and Fulham's keeper had an absolute 'mare.

 

1976 was a much more memorable...

The FA Cup final kick off time was originally moved to accommodate UEFA.

It could be moved back. That was a one off. The current kick off time is all about ad revenue from a tea time audience. Treats the fans as an afterthought.
