May 17, 201412 yr This scoreline pleases me Might be a bitter cunt but if it's not Bolton upsetting the apple cart then, generally, normal service can resume for me Hull fans can still enjoy Europa league piss ups next season
May 17, 201412 yr Though If they have already engraved arsenals name on the cup as that shot suggested I hope Hull win it

May 17, 201412 yr Even on mute this was a great game (then again I suppose anything without Tyldsley commentating is a good game). Would love to be involved in a game like that. Winning it of course.
May 18, 201412 yr Wish we could be in an FA cup final but just can't see it in my life time. Best chance was against stoke and nuff said
May 18, 201412 yr Steve bruce is one fat bastard! His wife is worth one! Not sure how he attracted her. Half his age too.

May 18, 201412 yr Author Might be a bitter cunt but if it's not Bolton upsetting the apple cart then, generally, normal service can resume for me On the other hand, if no underdogs ever win it again, it just highlights Wigan's achievement in winning it, like Wimbledon's victory over Liverpool.
May 18, 201412 yr wigans was a far greater achievement or, it would've been if it wasn't for the absolute arrogance of whelan/martinez who sacrificed their premier league place to do it whelan, when interviewed pre the cup semi this season, said promotion was the priority fcuk off, you nobhead
May 18, 201412 yr Author The game yesterday is just the sort of final that the FA Cup needs to restore it's reputation. It's always good when an unfashionable team makes it to the final rather than the usual suspects. They just seem to enjoy it more. I thought the way that both sets of supporters sung 'Abide With Me' and the national anthem was brilliant. I also liked the way that Hull's supporters hung around after the final whistle unlike City's supporters last year who cleared off, leaving Wigan to collect the trophy to a half-empty stadium. Even ITV's coverage was fairly good for once. I liked the retro piece they did about the way that FA Cup finals used to be covered and Roy Keane's remark about Ferguson. When asked whether the Utd players had ever given Ferguson the bumps after a final, he said that he would have thrown him up in the air but not bothered catching him. Edited May 18, 201412 yr by COYW
May 18, 201412 yr Author P.S. Will the FA ever learn how to present the trophy though? Every year the captain has to fight their way through a scrum of players to pick up the trophy. What happened to the captain going up first and then passing it back down the line? Prince William almost gave the cup to Wenger. Still, not as bad as his dad who nearly presented it to the losing captain once.
May 18, 201412 yr His wife is worth one! Not sure how he attracted her. Half his age too. He is 53. (born on Alex Ferguson's 19th birthday). Hull really blew that. Will they ever have a better chance of winning it? Hull had to use 2 subs to cover injuries, and used the other one to introduce someone not fit for a full game. Arsenal took the lead in the first half of extra time and then brought Rosicky and Wilshere on for the second half of extra time. They have ben married for 31 years.

Not with that kickoff time it wasn't.
