Trying And Failing To Buy A Ticket On-Line For Today.

Has anybody on here ever bought a ticket this way? I thought I'd buy on-line and print from the e-mail to save going and queuing but although I'm logged on and the screen is showing my name, client reference and prices for the match there is nothing to click on to actually progress to select and purchase a ticket. Can anybody advice please?

Can you buy on the day of a game?

I can't see anything saying that. I'd think if that where the case that it would say somewhere.

I went online and got to the point of selecting a seat, so it seems possible and is working here

Might be a decent crowd today, hope you get sorted

Ring em up :-)

Wouldn't buying one over the phone mean that I still have to queue to pick it up when I arrive at the Mac? Seems simple enough in theory to buy and print the ticket off an e-mail but it just isn't working as the web site states and there's no explanation why not. I've now spent over an hour trying to do this and now it seems my choices are driving down once before the game and having a long wait at the ticket office, going now and getting one from the ticket office and going back later for the game or not bothering.

Just had a quick look and there's no issues with mine either.

Once you log in and click on the Blackburn match then the page should come up with the prices at the top and the stadium at the bottom. Click on the area of the stadium that you want to sit and then the block of the stand you want to sit in, that should then give you the option of how many of each ticket you want and then just 'add to basket' then 'proceed to checkout' on the next page.

When you pay just select the delivery option as 'print from home' and you'll get an e-mail through with the tickets as an attachment.

If that doesn't work then I've no idea

I tried it on Monday and it was the same with me could buy tickets for huddersfield and Wigan but got the same as you for the Blackburn game I think it might be because they're on restricted sale ended up going to the ground hope this helps

Not getting the plan of the stadium on mine and there's no option to progress to anything else. Maybe its because as far as I can recall I haven't actually bought on-line although I have been registered for ages. Nothing is telling me on the site that that's the case though.

It's sold out!

I think that might be the case Wanderers63. Its a shame I didn't get some  sort of message on screen telling me so though as I would have gone and got one from the ticket office but I really don't think I can be arsed now as its taken me two hours getting to this stage.

Thanks everyone you has tried to help. Enjoy the game and COYWM!

If you buy over the phone and pick it up there's a different line for you compared to people who are buying there. Should only take a minute picking it up there's never much of a queue for them.

It doesn't matter whether you've ever purchased a ticket online before. If you have a reference number, you also have a booking history and you can buy online. After all, you have to start somewhere!

I don't know whether you're using a Mac or a PC or which browser you're using but it sounds like you might not have the latest version if you can't see the plan of the ground on your screen.

I can see the plan if I look for the Leeds game though. So it looks like the situation is particular to todays game.

It's working at this end...

Meanwhile Rovers supporters don't seem to be having any problems purchasing tickets in the home sections...

"Just found out as my mate who was getting tickets dithered and they sold out before he got them. But apparently it's ok as he got us ticket in the home fans. Far from my definition of ok but at least get to see the game. On the basis he said was easy to get tickets in home end wonder how many others done same. Rather makes a mockery of not putting 700 seats on sale for a measure to separate fans."

Is your end in the ticket office COYW?

Looking at your latest post I'm guessing not.

I think it's a software problem at your end. The Leeds game is a '3D' stadium plan and there is no stadium plan for the Huddersfield game. The Blackburn game is a '2D' stadium plan. If you can't see it, it might be worth updating your browser software or trying another one.

I was trying earlier using Chrome on my laptop. I've just tried after reading your post on my I-pad using Safari with the same result, no stadium plan and no other means of progressing. It's all very mysterious and frustrating. I suppose I should have got sorted a few days ago but just didn't get chance. With hindsight I wish I'd just gone up to the Mac at 10.15 this morning while it was quiet but was seduced by something that appeared to be an easier option. Hopefully I will be really pissed off at not going when we spank 'em 4-0.

I'm using Safari on an iMac, so it might be worth running 'Software Update' on your iPad to see whether there are any updates to the version of Safari you're using.

I've just updated the I-pad but alas will never know if it would have sorted today's problem as the Blackburn match has now vanished off the BWFC ticket sales site.

25 minute queue to collect at 2 pm today.
