so he's been caught, gave his details, ignored the fine, not turned up in court and been done

 

that's fair enough as it would be like that for any fine - parking, fare dodging, etc

 

but

 

you'd still be fucked off as everyone drops their cigs and i've never heard of anyone being asked to pick it up and all that, so it seems a bit random, spose he was just unlucky to get spotted

Usually in cases like this he would get a fixed penalty £80 dropping to £40 if paid early. If he refuses to pay he gets threatened with court proceedings. I would imagine he had a few chances to jump off the legal bus and pay the fine. If he flicked two fingers at the law and decided to take the council on then he brought it on himself.

 

I don't know anything of this particular case but the above is often the case

Spent many an unhappy hour clearing streets of litter. We would have been better employed improving parks, and disposal costs spent on football pitches for example. Too many simpletons cant see that; "me dropping rubbish keeps you in a job" - absolute cunts.

Was clearing a back street once when two enforcement officers cruised up putting stickers on wheelie bins. Wouldn't even get out of the car. Lazy cunts, would have been quicker to walk with both sticking them on.

Got invited to a meeting later with management to discuss ways of improving litter situation. I piped up just get enforcement officers to wait outside butty shops, paper shops and offies and they'd make a killing.

One chips in "where are these shops, tell us and well do something....."

My mate that works at the train station tells me of a great story about dick head on a stag do that kept throwing litter in the genral direction of the station cleaner who was a little fat bloke.

 

The final straw was the nob head pouring beer at the feet of the cleaner and telling him to clean that up as all his mates jeered.

 

The lad ended up with a disabled toilet access key in the shape of a cork screw imbedded in his neck.

 

None of the station staff saw a thing and the CCTV was brokuned. :-)
