10 Years Ago Today

We drew at Pompey and qualified for Europe.  Can still see the look of disbelief on the faces of fellow fans in the away end at the final whistle.  Happy days....

I have a special memory of the 3-2 I'd bought a ticket for that game and couple of mates from LH were picking me up on the Saturday morning that night the wife decided to have me up all night when her waters broke ????and at 10.30 am Saturday morning my son was born at 12.00pm my mates turned up at Chorley hospital and I had the choice to either go to the match or stay at the hospital, very tough call but decided to stay, remember watching the highlights on MOTD and how we lost it God only knows.

class Mounts! We sure did pepper them just one of those days I guess,I missed the 4-0 game and that pissed me off more than not getting a ticket for west brom away in play offs, would of loved to give large at everton after that

The 4-0 was brilliant

I went with a few toffee mates only leaving them to sit in the away end

Had a belting night in Lpool after....went to sleep at 3-4am with the game highlights on in the hotel room I was sharing with my Everton mate

And as he woke the next morning the TV was still on just showing Stelios bagging...again :D

Happy days

Went down to the pompey match with a United 'fan', stopped over in Southsea for the weekend. We told him that Saturday night not to mouth off about being Bolton. Came out of club Envy early Sunday morning on the seafront singing "El Hadj Diouf will spit on you....", cracking weekender. I can still remember all the beach balls and a giant one being knocked out of the ground with it being an open end at the time.
