Joint Supports

My elbow has been giving me gyp for weeks (power wanking between lawns)- do these support type bandages work or are they a waste of money.

Hurts lifting up a brew and that's serious.

 

Help required.

Had similar, didn't find any of those things worked long term, went to the docs and got some physio booked, some massage and ice treatment over abaout 6 weeks finishing off with a cortisone injection in the elbow and never had a problem since, and it used to be murder even picking up a cup after a days work, or simple things like lifting a bag of shopping out of the car ,doesn't bother me at all now even after the gym.

Sounds similar, Krebs when starting the strimmer or using loppers.

Will try the ice; it does feel hot. Going away soon, so will see what its like after.

Only rest can cure injuries like this properly.

Just fold a Rizla in half - lick both sides of the sticky bit and then just sort of wedge it between the two other Rizla's and slide it out - whilst maintaining a bit of pressure.

Tried one of these with little expectation of it being any good. Might just be coincidence, as things do clear up - but the fact is in a week or two things went from being as bad as you say to basically fettled.
