Like others have said, aside from MOTD and cup/European matches there was a dearth of top class football on the box for the Skyless during that era, the Football Italia schedule filled a void. Vialli and Ravanelli, Zola at Parma, Abedi Pele, George Weah, Baresi and Maldini, Batistuta, Alexi Lalas and many more - class!
