October 4, 20196 yr Manchester isn't best at everything.I think Liverpool city centre has been regenerated better.Manchester has basically just got a load of new residential flats being bought by foreigners and southerners and some mini Sainsburys and new eating places to feed them.Liverpool has an outstanding waterfront regeneration. And I admire the close knit Scouse community spirit, they are far better at organising and sticking to a protest.For example they got Michael Shields out of prison by pestering Jack Straw to such an extent that after repeatedly denying him a pardon because he was guilty as sin, Mr Straw just gave in for a quiet life.
